February 8, 2018:  iON Selected for SBA’s All Small Mentor Protégé Program

Logo: Dovel TechnologiesiON Informatics, LLC is pleased to announce that the Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved a Mentor Protégé Agreement with Dovel Technologies, LLC under its All Small Mentor-Protégé Program (ASMPP). The ASMPP is designed to develop strong protégé firms through mentor-provided business development assistance and help protégés successfully compete for government contracts. The relationship will result in beneficial opportunities for both companies enhancing their collective capabilities.

Under the agreement, Dovel will assist iON in its pursuit of government contract awards, as well as provide management, technical, contracting, business development, and general administrative guidance. The companies have worked together in various capacities for nearly a decade and are well aligned to help each other catalyze growth through strategic positioning.

June 30, 2016:  iON Informatics, LLC has received a prime contract award as a result of the Seaport-e Rolling Admissions solicitation N00178-16-R-4000.  Seaport-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Program Management, Research & Development, Information System Development & Information Technology Support, and Training Support to name a few.

The U.S. Navy awarded indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contracts to 608 contractors that will provide for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps.  The 22 functional service areas within the scope of the contracts include: 1) research and development support;  2) engineering system engineering and process engineering support;  3) modeling, simulation, stimulation, and analysis support;  4) prototyping, pre-production, model-making, and fabric support;  5) system design documentation and technical data support;  6) software engineering, development, programming, and network support;  7) reliability, maintainability, and availability support;  8) human factors, performance, and usability engineering support;  9) system safety engineering support;  10) configuration management  support;  11) quality assurance support;  12) information system development, information assurance, and information technology support;  13) ship inactivation and disposal Support;  14) interoperability, test and evaluation, trials support;  15) measurement facilities, range, and instrumentation support;  16) acquisition logistics support;  17) supply and provisioning support;  18) training support;  19) in-service engineering, fleet introduction, installation and checkout support;  20) program support;  21) functional and administrative support, and  22) public affairs and multimedia support. April 26, 2016:  Dr. Caterina Lasome, President & CEO of iON Informatics, LLC, will be moderating and facilitating the 10th DoD/VA and Government Health IT Summit to be held in Alexandria, Virginia on May 2-3, 2016. As a member of the Defense Strategies Institute Advisory Board since 2011, Dr. Lasome plays a pivotal role in formulating the agenda and recommending speakers to educate and inform government employees, industry, and academe about the state of government health IT.  Held bi-annually, this Summit’s topics include Department of Defense and Veteran’s Administration electronic health record modernization efforts, precision medicine initiatives, telehealth, health data exchange, interoperability, connected health, and cognitive commuting, to name a few.
